Alrithm

Terms of Service

Last updated: October 8, 2026

These terms govern your use of the Alrithm API and any data retrieved through it (“the Data”). By requesting or using an API key, you agree to them.

1. License

The Data is licensed, not sold. You may use it to train, fine-tune, and evaluate machine-learning models. You may store it on systems you control.

2. Prohibited uses

You may not:

  • Redistribute, resell, sublicense, or publish the Data
  • Make the Data available to any third party
  • Use the Data to build a competing dataset or data service
  • Attempt to extract source datasets through the API

3. Access and scopes

Access is granted per key. Keys are issued at one of two scopes:

  • Sample — issued automatically on request. Limited to 20 requests per hour and 90-day expiry. Intended for evaluation and integration testing.
  • Full — issued after review. Limited to 100 requests per hour. Intended for production training pipelines.

Keys are revocable at any time, with or without cause.

4. Rate limits and expiry

Rate limits are per key and reset on a sliding window. Every response includes rate-limit headers. Exceeding a limit returns 429 Too Many Requests with a Retry-After header. Keys expire on the date shown at issuance; expired keys return 401 Unauthorized.

5. Traceability

Every response is watermarked per key. If Data appears outside a licensed environment, the source is identifiable. Watermarking does not alter the semantic content or utility of any row.

6. No warranty

The Data is provided “as is”. We make no warranty of accuracy, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

7. Termination

Breach of these terms terminates your license immediately. We may revoke any key and restrict access without notice.

8. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be announced on the news page. Continued use of the API after a change constitutes acceptance.
